A leader in their field as well as currently investing heavily in new products and services across the Telco space, my client has a diverse technical environment and fantastic projects dealing with infrastructure upgrades/migration as well as new products implementations across Telecommunications, mobile and Value add services within Multi-media.
About the role
The Senior Design role is responsible for Design, delivery, configuration, documentation and strategic improvement for the technical outcomes for the business and their customers.
Skills/requirements and Desirables;
-5+ years experience as a Network Designer within a large enterprise/Data centre environment.
-Relevant Tertiary Qualifications/Degree Educated (engineering or Computer science).
-Industry certification at least CCNP
-Load Balancing, F5 (LTM, GTM) iRules expert knowledge, Alteons
-Firewall, Security, IPSec VPN & SSL VPN (Juniper, Checkpoint Cisco ASA),
-Routing and Switching ( high end Cisco Switches are Routers Nexus5K & 7K a plus
-Expert hands on BGP, MPLS, VPNs, Spanning Tree etc
-Bluecoat and Proxy Servers
-Data Centre Edge Network, Hosting, Virtualization, Cloud Computing
-Project delivery and management experience
-Excellent communications skills, documentation Visio etc
