Description
This large Federal Government Department is looking for a Microsoft Exchange Administrator to join the team - This may be the role for you! On offer is an initial 3 month contract with strong view for further extension - Join an exciting Department with a continuous flow of projects and budget!
In this role you will be:
- Advising on, and maintaining the department's Microsoft 2010 Exchange enterprise solution.
- Producing usage reports and other ad-hoc management reports.
- Enabling additional Exchange and Outlook functionality not yet implemented.
- Working with project teams to complete to rollout of Exchange/Outlook, and to complete the migration off Lotus Notes.
- Troubleshooting Exchange and Outlook issues.
- Maintain Active Directory messaging settings.
- Advising on, and maintaining the Microsoft Lync enterprise solution.
- Advising on, and maintaining the Symantec Enterprise Vault email archiving solution.
In order to be considered for this role you must have the following experience:
- At least 2 years experience administering Microsoft Exchange in a production environment.
- At least 2 years experience with Powershell Scripting in a production environment.
- At least 2 years experience maintaining and configuring Active Directory in a production environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Qualifications in Active Directory.
- Qualifications in Exchange administration.
- Experience administering Microsoft Lync instant messaging in a large environment.
- Experience administering Symantec Enterprise Vault in a large environment.
- An understanding and working knowledge of SQL Server
