Job Description- This individual is expected to be self-sufficient and able to perform most of the tasks involved in the role with limited assistance from peers, product documentation, and vendor support services.
- May also direct and lead the work of others in a similar role.
- This role requires participation in an on-call rotation supporting 24x7 critical production applications.
- This job family is differentiated from the Solutions Architecture Job Family by generally focusing on specific technology domains versus end to end Solutions.
- Candidate to have good understanding of basic SQL/Windows architecture,
- Exposure to installation & upgrade
- Hands-on log-shipping
- Prefer Exposure to at least one area from clustering/replication/mirroring
- Good understanding of P & T/Troubleshooting areas (like performance Monitors, showplan, basics of locking/blocking/deadlocks, tempdb full, log full, suicide log, trace flags, SQL Trace etc)
