Our client, a leading clearing house, currently seeks a Change Control Lead, to be based in their London office.

The Change Control Lead will be responsible for:

-Contribute to, communicate and maintain best practice change control standards
-Work with and assist project managers & workstream leads in meeting these standards
-Ensure timely sign-off approval on all formal documents
-Actively manage programme change control procedures across documents, systems and suppliers
-Actively maintain the programme log of change controls and related information
-Facilitate effective and timely change control review meetings
-Ensure the effectiveness and timely resolution of all change escalations
-Ensure the integrity of all change control information, including the reference baseline documents
-Eliminate duplication of information and process
-Operate an efficient and effective reporting cycle
-Create presentation material suitable for Board-level review

As such, the successful Change Control Lead will have the following skills and experience:

-Experienced in setting up and managing a Change Control procedure
-Experience of working effectively in a small team
-Experienced in managing changes across documents, systems and suppliers
-Experienced in managing or facilitating a Change Control Board
-Knowledge of change control standards and techniques, and experience in when to be rigorous and when to be pragmatic
-Confident in communicating and coaching change control standards
-Confident working with senior managers to achieve document approval sign-offs and change control sign-offs
-Diligence and determination in following up procedures and sign-offs, with a sensitivity that avoids alienating the team members and senior management
-Ability to convey the benefits of strong procedures, in the face of a high rate of change and urgent project demands
-Structured, methodical thinker who can demonstrate attention to detail for planning, measurement and reporting
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Highly numerate, and experienced in data management
-Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project and Visio
