SAP PP Consultant - 6 months with substantial extentions
My client, a major international manufacturing company in Ghent, is looking for a SAP PP Consultant to join their team as soon as possible, at least until the end of the year but with very real chances of substantial extensions.
Although the main focus of the project will be on third level support, depending on the consultant's profile there is also possibility in participating in more project-oriented work to a lesser degree.
In recent years and months there have been many implementations and related projects regarding SAP PP, and this has raised several needs from the business side ie some how-to's but mainly to improve existing processes. In other words, I'm looking for a consultant with a strong PP background who is confident enough to handle substantial changes as autonomously as possible.
Your main activities will include:
-assess business needs & implement after studying impact on existing processes
-steer level 2 & business in (technical) testing)
-documentation
Preferably Dutch speaking. If all other criteria are met we can consider English speaking as well; all additional languages are an asset.
Skills needed:
-5 years experience in SAP PP
-ABAP debugging skills.
-Good background in Discrete & Repetitive Manifacturing and Variant Configurator are an asset
-APO PP-DS skills are an added value
Start date: Mid August (strongly preferred. September also possible
Duration: at least until the end of the year, with good possibilities of substantial extensions.
