For our customer we are looking for a SAP BW consultant. The consultant will focus on development of different reporting related objects on the systems:
SAP BW, SAP ECC and SAP GTS.
Job description:
Your primary tasks are:
Expertise within the specific development area/tools
Understand business processes and functional requirements and translate these into a functional specification
Estimate development effort based on high level design and specification
Interact with architects to improve/suggest technical solutions
Understand new technology and solutions that are launched on the market place
Implement/develop/set up solutions based on functional specification
Create test specifications and conduct unit tests of own and others development objects
Participate in system/integration tests and correct errors
Conduct code review/QA of other development objects
Develop according to best practices and defined standards
Develop modular and efficient solutions to minimize performance impact
Write technical specifications describing implemented functionality and solutions
Communicate status, progress and issues efficiently with team lead and other stakeholders
Handover to Application Management Organization
- Senior preferably and very hands-on. We are not looking for a lead, architect, advisor etc
- BW Application Expert with experience from working with data from SAP Inventory Management
and/or
- BW Application Expert with experience from working with data from several SAP ECC modules, preferably FI & CO.
Required skills:
Design and programming in SAP applications.
Deep understanding of BI extractors from the ECC system and working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies and tables in ECC environment.
Experienced in configuration and enhancement of SAP BW data objects (InfoObjects, InfoSources, Transformations, Info Providers & BAdI)
Experienced in SAP BW Data Modeling
Deep knowledge in the areas of Reporting
Experienced in handling Inventory ETL.
Deep understanding in the areas of FICO/Inventory Management in ECC.
