Subject:
Subcontractor will provide one individual for Project Management services of Oracle eBusiness Suite upgrade project and in support of business process modelling and business process improvement projects.

Scope of Work
Seeks to engage an experienced project manager who has subject matter expertise in v12 of EBS and experience planning and leading upgrades from v11 to v12, to lead the effort to finalize the project scope, develop a realistic project plan, and successfully lead the project team through the upgrade process.

The upgrade project will be executed using a phased approach to meet key project goals. The project manager will be responsible for leading the project team in gathering and finalizing requirements and specifications, and defining project scope. The project manager will be responsible for fully developing and executing the EBS v12 Upgrade project plan in accordance with project goals, milestones, budgets, and resource estimates. A preliminary project plan currently exists. A detailed functional analysis has been performed to review the list of customizations and determine which can be deprecated due to new functionality in EBS v12i. Additional work with stakeholders will be conducted to review and document desired functionality and to factor this information into the revised project requirements and scope as appropriate. The project manager will coordinate and lead these efforts. From the information obtained, the project scope will be finalized and a fully-developed project plan will be prepared and baselined.

The project manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining project management documents, including a project charter, project management plan, WBS, schedule, risk management plan, and change control log. The project manager will also be responsible for working with the technical team to develop rollout plans (which will include testing plans, go-live checklists, back-out plans, and training materials as appropriate). The project manager will be accountable for executing the project according to the approved plan and will take guidance from a steering committee of senior managers. The project manager will produce written weekly status reports.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience managing large complex IT projects. The candidate must be knowledgeable in all phases of ERP system implementations and upgrade processes, with direct experience with full life cycle implementations and upgrades of Oracle EBS. Experience upgrading EBS from 11i to 12i is highly desirable.

The candidate must have functional knowledgeable in the following Oracle EBS modules:
a. General Ledger
b. Project Accounting
c. Procurement
d. Inventory
e. Accounts Receivable
f. Accounts Payable
g. Time and Labor

In addition to managing the Oracle EBS Upgrade Project, the candidate will also work with the Business Analyst group on business process improvement projects. Demonstrated experience with business process modelling and business process improvement projects is highly preferred. The candidate must have practical experience developing and successfully executing projects. The candidate should have strong analytical and customer skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.

Deliverables
1. Weekly status reports with a breakdown of time spent on project tasks.
2. Documentation as listed in the Scope of Work section completed on schedule and as required.
3. Professional calibre documentation on work performed.
