SUMMARY:
This position is accountable for providing customer support by responding to medical information queries related to PCH products. This encompasses development and maintenance of standard response documents, intake and providing written, verbal responses to queries from consumers and healthcare professionals. The Sr. Associate/Manager, Global Medical Affairs will research the relevant product information and medical literature to develop, document and deliver appropriate responses to medical information queries in a timely manner to the requestor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide responses to requests for medical information on PCH products based on standard response documents when possible or develop medically accurate and appropriate responses based on product information sources including published medical literature in a timely manner; Document and archive all responses made to medical queries; Identify queries that occur frequently and develop standard response documents for them; Maintain standard response documents for PCH products.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Pharm D or RN required; 1-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. OTC experience is a plus; Proficiency in providing drug information to consumers and healthcare professionals; A solid knowledge of Pharmacology is necessary; Specific experience with analgesics or nutritional products is a plus; Experience in safety is a plus.

MOST CRITICAL SKILLS NECESSARY ARE:
Pharmacist with at least 1-2 years experience in drug information; 1-2 years pharmaceutical industry experience; Microsoft applications; Effective communication skills; resourceful; can-do attitude; someone who takes immediate actions to drive resolution to an issue; problem solver; ability to work independently once trained.
