Halian Belgium is currently looking for a Senior Analyst Programmer for a contract of more than 4 years in the public sector - Brussels.
Our client has a portfolio of around 20 information systems used internally and externally including websites.
The objective of the present contract is to participate to the analysis and development of new applications and to implement change requests in existing applications. The majority of existing systems as well as some of the new ones in development phase have specific components dedicated to document management, document workflow and automated publishing of information on the public website.
The mission is located in Brussels.
Duration: 4 years
Your mission
- Analysis of the requirements and production of specifications
- Development and maintenance of applications.
- Implementation of change requests.
- Elaboration of test programs.
- Production of technical documentation.
- Assist with deployment and configuration of the system.
- Assist with the training of the users.
- Apply RUP methodology and best practices.
- Participate in meeting with business managers.
Profile
- In depth knowledge of Java. (Minimum 6 years of experience developing Java enterprise application)
- In depth knowledge of the Spring framework and the Spring projects and tools.
- In depth knowledge of Datamodelling and object-relational mapping.
- In depth knowledge of testing methods and tools.
- Good knowledge of UI frameworks.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle).
- Good knowledge of UML and RUP.
- Good knowledge of integration and deployment tools.
- Ability to work in English (written and oral).
Skills considered as an asset:
- Knowledge of: Eclipse, Tomcat Application Server, Unix, web security.
- Ability to work in French (written and oral).
- Good knowledge of a project management methodologies (preferably PM2).
