An excellent opportunity has arisen working for a Major Utilities Organisation of ours for a Communications Assistant.
The Client is looking for someone with experience in a business administration, internal communications or event management.
You will have evident ability to prepare and edit articles, reports and presentations using a succinct style with accurate spelling and grammar.
Advanced use of PowerPoint is essential, experience of web-page development and editing is preferred.
Supporting the Programme Management team by implementing and maintaining the communications plan
Supporting stakeholder engagement by providing requested communications material and possible support at stakeholder engagement sessions
Preparing and editing communications material - presentations, newsletter articles, e-mail bulletins - for routine and one-off staff communications. This needs to be done accurately and to strict deadlines, often short ones.
Regular monthly communications
Collation of material and distribution to line managers
Collecting and analysing feedback, for example via Survey Monkey
Programme Management Share point/Internet site development and maintenance
Establishing and routine editing of the Programme Management Internet site
Advising and guiding Internet page authors regarding style and presentation and assisting them to develop better pages
Checking relevance and currency of posted material and progressing updates from authors
Expo's and Conference
Logistical organisation of exhibitions and conference events that are required as part of the Programme Management communications strategy, or to those to which we are contributing, ie liaising with venues, audio visual system providers, line managers and speakers.
Preparation and editing of content and supporting materials (eg display boards, leaflets, videos etc)
