A Contracts Support Officer is required for a 10-month contract role based in Portsmouth paying £11.48 - £14p/h Limited Company rate depending on experience.

Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of satellite systems. Their activities cover complete civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation systems, science and navigation programmes, together with avionics and a wide range of space equipment and associated ground infrastructure.

We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Support Officer in Portsmouth to join our team.

Job Profile:
1.Business Support:
a)Updating of SAP database to include the following;
new projects
milestone payment plans
new supplier requests
contract change notes
invoice processing
notified/non-notified orders
b)Administration and maintenance of SAP logistical items.
c)Producing KPI reports for functional activity.
d)Database maintenance
e)Maintenance of the CR/CN process
f)Administration of the work flow activity within SAP
g)Other Ad-hoc activities required to support the Business Support function

2.Supply Contacts:
a)Preparation for and approval by the supply contracts manager of non-disclosure agreements in accordance with company instructions and standards.
b)Administration of all invoice approvals/processing and reporting invoice status to suppliers. Act as point of contact for supplier invoice queries. Initially this will also involve working with the supply contracts team and accounts payable to enhance the existing invoicing processes.
c)Liaising with Accounts payable dept.
d)Producing weekly invoice status reports to nominated suppliers
e)Maintenance of central register and filling system for all Agreements, including CR/CN and MPP trackers.
f)Maintenance of central register of contracts and subcontracts
g)To provide admin support to the department on various activities relating, but not limited to, project debtors, archiving, central agreements register/filing.
h)Ad Hoc activities relating to invoicing and other contractual administrative issues.
i)Responsible for preparation of completed contractual documentation and co-ordination of the approval and sign off process.
j)Participation in process improvement activities
k)Adherence to all procedures and maintenance of all contract related records.

The role is based in Portsmouth however the candidate must be willing to travel to Stevenage as required.

Qualifications and/or Skills
-Essential: Experienced in Electronic Database use, Strong administrative skills. Invoice approvals/processing and reporting.
-Desirable: Knowledge of SAP (invoice processing, milestone payment plans, new supplier requests, contract change notes, invoice processing, notified/non-notified orders)

Previous Experience
-Essential: Experience of working in an office based environment carrying out a broad range of administrative duties. A Working knowledge of electronic databases.
-Desirable: SAP maintenance, preparation of contractual documentation
