Communications Manager, NHS, Marketing Communications
Communications Manager required for our healthcare client based in central Leeds.
The role is reporting to to Project Manager and providing senior communications support for a strategically important project. Working within the Marketing and Communications Team to ensure that overall co-ordinated corporate is maintained across the project.
You will be managing a programme of stakeholder engagement for the successful implementation of the project, ensuring relevant stakeholders are kept informed, all needs are met and benefits are clearly communicated.
You will create, deliver and evaluate a communications strategy for this project, working with the project team and communications teams. You will be customer focused, creating engaging plans based on sound evidence, balancing differing stakeholder and customer needs and requirements, using good research to demonstrate that communications work meeting corporate and work programme objectives.
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of communications and marketing communications techniques, approaches, procedures, project management acquired through training (eg a professional Marketing/Communications qualification or equivalent plus training or experience in communications field to masters level equivalent).
- Experience of managing and delivering stakeholder engagement plans.
- Demonstrates strategic marketing approach.
- Experience of health service and/or informatics communications.
- Ability to work in a challenging and reputationally or politically sensitive environment.
- Highly developed customer handling skills and excellent communicator.
- Confident making decisions.
