SAS Designer- Contractor Specialist (CG28423)

4+ Month Contract
Contract Rate: $55 per hour W2
Design, architecture and implementation of complex SAS BI and Data Integration applications; Define SAS BI architecture and code design with an eye toward flexibility and maintainability; Knowledge of both SAS 9 toolset as well as BASE SAS and EG. Contractor will provide SAS development for the redesign of the Medicaid Reporting solution to support CCO changes and adaptation to the overall architecture of External Reporting (ER).
The SAS development will standardize the services ER offers and allow the team to add services to the catalog by reusing primary components:
- Redesign the medicaid Reporting application for both Medical and Pharmacy
- Exposure of business rules
- Support CCO and Molina changes
- Update outdated architecture and software, support new DW conversion
- Standardize the External Reporting architecture and infrastructure to leverage common data marts across all reporting needs which currently apply t
- APAC redesign
- Surveys: MOV, HCAHPS, HHCAHPS
- Action O/I
Experience Requirements: 9.1 SAS and 4.1 EG
Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required. 5 years of experience.
Work Environment: Remote or on-site
Scope of the project: 5 month project until the end of the year to convert our Legacy Medicaid Reporting applications to a common architectural platform to support the upcoming CCO changes (Exchanges)
Top 3 skills needed to succeed in this position: Specialist level SAS 9.1 and Enterprise Guide (EG) 4.1 experience. Data mart design, ETL expertise. Hands-on developer required rather than mentoring role.
