Infrastructure Service Acceptance Manager - Our client, a leading financial organisation is looking for an Infrastructure Service Acceptance Manager for a long term contract based in their head office in Belgium. As Infrastructure Service Acceptance Manager you will be identifying the teams which need to be involved in any project, ensuring proper definition, planning and coordination of tasks that need to be completed. You will ensure Production Acceptance Criteria are met and check at each stage of the project, ensuring changes delivered into production are of sufficient quality to preserve production stability.

Infrastructure Service Acceptance Manager will manage and communicate the impact of IT projects on technology and production environment. You will deliver part of the project Business Case to ensure technology domains and production impacts are included, and deliver part of the Business Case to ensure technology and production impacts are fully defined, appropriately costed and a proper risk assessment is performed. You will also ensure compliance with system architecture standards and production acceptance criteria, coordinating delivery of technical design, together with Account Director (taking impact of non-functional requirements into account - such as availability, capacity, scalability). A further responsibility will be to act as "guardian" for optimising Total Cost of Ownership for infrastructure changes.

Infrastructure Service Acceptance Manager skills required:

- Experience in project and programme leading
- Strong technical expertise in a complex environment - this client's environment involves IBM Mainframe, Tandem, UNIX, Windows, advanced networking and storage
- Able to plan, control and monitor project definition and execution including managing scope, budget, activity scheduling, deliverables quality, risks and issues
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to liaise effectively with staff and senior management
- French language skills desirable
- Able to deal with conflicting priorities, customer focused, process oriented, analytical and problem solving skills, sensitive to production stability and support issues
- Good negotiation skills, assertive, rigorous, structured
- Happy for occasional travel
