Electrical Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing
Location: Tyne & Wear
Type: Contract (3 Monthly Rolling)
Rate of Pay: Negotiable (Dependant on experience)
Assystem are working on behalf of a major automotive manufacturer based in Sunderland to recruit skilled electrical Maintenance Technicians to join them on a 3 month rolling contract basis.
The suitable Maintenance Technician will be ideally have experience of maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing plants such as Automotive/FMCG/Pharmaceuticals/Food and Primary metal production. Other relevant backgrounds will be considered; Marine, Power Generation and Military (not vehicle).
You will be capable of problem solving, maintaining and improving manufacturing equipment including at least 4 of the following:-
- SCADA and HMI based system
- PLC programming and development
- Robot cells/CNC machine tools
- Relay logic and PLC control system diagnostics
- AC and DC drive systems
- Mechanical handling systems
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
Experienced of developing and implementing Planned Preventative Maintenance checks on manufacturing plant and services.
