Our client a global leader in Oil and Gas exploration are looking for an exceptional CNNS & Subsea Quality Engineer to be based in Aberdeen Scotland.

Our client will consider a staff position or a 12 month contract role with annual reviews to extend. The ideal candidate will be a Quality Engineer with Subsea Project and Front End engineering experience.

Contribute to the execution and maintenance of the Subsea Quality Improvement Plan. Provide QA support and advice to the study, Front End engineering, detailed design, construction and project management work being undertaken by project teams within the UIE CNNS Portfolio.
Support the maintenance of the Quality Management System utilised within the office. Champion implementation of the company's corporate requirements, including Opportunity Realisation Process (ORP), Discipline Controls Assurance Framework (DCAF) and Flawless Project Delivery (FPD).
Fulfilling the role of Quality Engineer in one or more integrated in-house staff/contractor teams handling multiple project responsibilities.
Preparation of project specific Quality Plans (PQP), Project Controls Assurance Plans (PCAP) and Technical Integrity Plans (TIP).
Development of internal and external audit schedules, and project specific procedures. Participate in change management process ensuring changes are managed from inception to implementation.
Participate in discipline and inter discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work.
Provision of quality input to Invitations to Tender; attendance at Kick-Off/Pre-Inspection Meetings.
Ensure suppliers adhere to the quality requirements of any contract or purchase order.
Review of contractor/vendors quality plans and inspection and test plan to ensure adequate hold and witness points have been identified to ensure appropriate levels of control are being applied.
Ensure lessons learned processes are implemented at appropriate points during the execution of the work.
Capture/apply internal and external learning and incorporate improvements.
Contribute to the development of execution contracting strategies that complement designs, construction methods and operating methods.
Create demonstrable value for customers by understanding their drivers and critical success factors.
Deliver continuously improving performance, benchmarked as top tier in the industry.
Ensure quality of technical work and the technical integrity, functionality, constructability, safe operation and reliability of designs.
Maintain effective interfaces and relationships within/between disciplines, and peers in other project teams and customer/Asset Teams.
You will be working in a mixed Staff/Contractor team with multi-cultural team members and customers.
You must be a team player where recognition of team performance as a whole is a greater priority than projecting individual contribution.
Be able to work in a team environment and handle multiple project responsibilities.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.

The position will be based in Aberdeen but will be required to visit engineering & construction contractors' offices and work sites/locations (UK and occasionally abroad) to participate in quality related meetings, audits/reviews etc.
