Fleet Contracts Manager

A Fleet Contracts Manager is required to lead the introduction of a voluntary private user scheme for staff driving high business mileage, review the current fleet arrangement and make recommendations for improvements, work with the project team to prepare a business case for a wider private user scheme.
The following skills and experience are essential:
Essential
*Direct experience of management of a fleet of vehicles (preferably motor vehicles)
*Experience of analysis of statistical trends and issues within a fleet (for example, fuel, repairs, mileage, emissions, compliance, efficiencies)
*Experience of proposing strategy and policy for fleet management and fleet usage including 'grey' fleet.
*Experience of managing budgets or budget reconciliation
*Experience of negotiation and resolution of commercial issues with internal and external customers
*Computer literate with experience of MS Word, Excel, email and Internet
*Full driving licence
*Willingness to travel across UK with some overnight stays possible when necessary
Desirable
*Good knowledge of contract law, procurement practices and legal/guidelines.
*Membership of the Institute of Car Fleet Management
*Diploma or similar recognised fleet management qualification
