Description
Working for a leading consultancy the SQL Server DBA will be providing SQL Support and SQL Server Administration on SQL Server 2005, 2008 R2. The successful candidate will also get involved in disaster recovery strategies, database mirroring as well as troubleshooting various types of issues such as performance, server down, data corruption, misconfiguration etc.
Essential skills:
- Strong SQL Server database administration and support experience
- Good SQL Server maintenance, installation of SQL Server and Server design
- Understanding of T-SQL language and PowerShell
- Ideally experience of Windows 2008 R2 features (DFSR, Memory management, Virtualisation)
This position would suit a SQL Server DBA, SQL Server Support/SQL Server Administrator with strong experience of administrating and support SQL Server Database.
This position is looking to start ASAP and will be paying Euros 260/day (EUROs per day - LTD/Umbrella Company)
