Reinsurance Analyst - Contract - £400 - £500 a day - London - Lloyds of London Market
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will assist the Reinsurance Manager with the production of deliverables needed for the Reinsurance Workstream of the Solvency II programme. This includes review of Reinsurance Manual and Guidelines, Development of Reinsurer Counterparty Management processes and analysis and specification of Reinsurance inputs to Solvency II reporting requirements
EXPERIENCE
Essential
*Strong technical background in Reinsurance.
*Requirements elicitation techniques, including: interviews, questionnaires, user observation, workshops, role playing and prototyping
*Analysis of both functional and non-functional requirements
*A good technical awareness, preferably from a technical development background
*Strong facilitation and influencing skills - able to work with large groups of customers (of varying level of seniority from user to board level)
*Excellent communication skills - able to communicate with and present to internal teams and customers with technical and non-technical backgrounds
*Able to work both as part of a team or work on own
Desirable
*Knowledge of General Insurance business
*Knowledge of Underwriting processes
