SDH - OTN - DWDM Transport Engineer
A global telecoms company based in Brussels are searching for a transport engineer with excellent knowledge of SDH, OTN and DWDM. The SDH/OTN/DWDM transport engineer will have experience of technical solutions development, specifications, design and testing. We are looking for an SDH/OTN/DWDM transport engineer who has worked within a carrier environment, perhaps with knowledge of optics.
The SDH/OTN/DWDM transport engineer will assist lab tests (DWDM, OTN & SDH), validate network designs and provide technical consultancy to internal departments. The SDH/OTN/DWDM transport engineer will also manage the availability of equipment/cards/software for network/service build operations and supervise SDH network replacement.
The SDH/OTN/DWDM transport engineer will be required to have knowledge of the following products:
> SDH: Alcatel 1678MCC, 1660SM, 1650SM + NMS (RM, NM, BM, SY)/Marconi SMA1-3 (series 1 & 3) + EMOS
> OTN: basic knowledge
> DWDM: Adva FSP3000 + FSP NMS/Nokia (NSN) HiT + TNMS
