Front Office Business Analyst - Asset Management - OMS - Order Management

Front Office Asset Management Business Analyst required to join a leading Investment Management organisation to work closely with the fund managers in analysing process requirements and advising on the implementation/migration to a new OMS - Order Management System.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Solid experience of having worked with Front Office and with Fund Managers
  • Experience around the following asset classes: Derivatives and Fixed Income
  • Strong understanding of Processes relating to execution of trades and order management Capturing and documenting business and system requirements
  • Process Mapping and recommending target operating model for Front Office processes.
  • Current state analysis and documentation of systems, workflows and business
  • Documentation of functional and technical specifications best suited to fulfil the future requirements of the business
  • Defining and documenting solutions to meet the business requirements and engaging with the business to gain consensus
  • Organising and hosting workshops to explain and walk through business requirements and corresponding solutions
  • Engaging with development teams to explain the requirements and solution proposals
  • Problem solving and issue resolution around process implementation for OMS systems and Front Office functions

Candidates must have the following Knowledge:
Experience:

  • Prior experience in a business analysis role for an Asset Management, Investment Management or hedge fund organisation
  • Solid experience of having worked with Front Office and with Fund Managers
  • Experience around the following asset classes: Derivatives and Fixed Income
  • Candidates should be able to understand Trade Capture, Trade execution, trade processing, cancellation, amendments, rounding, Risk P&L, be able to value these products and calculate the risk.
  • Experience implementing OMS systems - ThinkFolio, Charles River, Latent Zero, FrontArena, Simcorp, FIX
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of end to end process flows for those products
  • Analytical aptitude, clear & concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and users in a Front Office environment.
