Link Technologies is seeking a Director of Data Management. This successful candidate can be located in Las Vegas, NV or Dallas, TX. This role will lead a team of 4-5 members and all technical activities associated with defining and documenting product data architecture, Database Management, Report Management, ETL process and Data Integration. The Director will drive database architecture activities against business objectives; focus on existing data architectures and processes (ETL and reporting) driving optimization, stability and integrity with customers. Define, create and manage all associated activities as required to accomplish conversions and integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Provides product thought leadership in all aspects of data usability to drive strategic product advantage in the market place.
- Ensures production data processes are optimized for accuracy and on time schedule completion.
- Defines data strategy and design as required to meet current and future business objectives. Will be responsible for the definition and delivery of all data related artifacts across product lines.
- Drives metric reporting as required to predict/anticipate the health of our production environments.
- Provide expertise and guidance in the review and correction of data integrity and/or reporting issues
- Drives technical architecture and delivery of meeting functional requirements from a database design, reporting and integration perspective
- Defines job specifications, hires and manages technical data engineering professionals
- Identifies and implements process improvement leading to cost reduction and operational stability.
- Owns current relationships with our current ETL or future ETL vendors
Requirements:
- Experienced in logical and physical database design for Microsoft SQL Server web-based transactional environments.
- ETL process creation and management.
- Understands data approaches to transactional data structure designs.
- Understands and is experienced in design of data warehouses.
- Experience in the production of data analytics and associated tools.
- Is an expert in the creation of SQL, MySQL and stored procedures
- Possesses an exceptional ability to clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical teams and all levels of management. Is comfortable in public speaking
- Able to multi-task on several projects simultaneously.
- Education: 4 Year degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Experience: 10 years + direct experience leading a data management and architecture group.
Highly Desired:
- Graduate degree in technology or business
- Microsoft SQL Server certification
- BI/Datawarehouse certification (CBIP)
- Healthcare experience
- Experience with Bridgegate for ETL is a plus!
