Description
A major retail bank is looking for Resource and Capacity Planner to join a major transformation programme.
The main purpose of the role will be to lead the Planning process, providing forecasts in relation to volume, productivity, performance and FTE across our different sites, suppliers and process. This involves embed planning process and cycle to ensure plans are driven by operations and agreed with the business; providing insight into FTE impacts of changes in volume, process time and productivity; owning forecast for volume, FTE, process time, desk utilisation and productivity; setting up and managing monthly resource approvals meeting with operations, finance and HR; managing impact assessment process for operations providing insight into FTE movement driven by change to process, policy and time; managing team to deliver a weekly planning meeting to review volume and staffing levels and deliver a daily view for operations on the ground; delivering FTE demand plans in line with financial calendar for RAF, STP & MTP; liaise & integrate with multiple areas across Symphony including Cost management, local finance teams & operational stakeholders.
The suitable candidate will have:
*Background in Resource/Capacity/Workforce planning
*Previous experience of developing complex resource models within major organisations
*A background in a similar role within a major organisation, ideally financial services
*Ability to understand operational complexities and translate then into realistic performance challenges with credibility.
*A good technical knowledge, and ability to leverage knowledge of specialists as required
*High degree of organisation, adaptable and flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, able to manage competing priorities and adopt a process and process improvement approach when required
*Understanding of MI and planning
