Exciting opportunity to join a leading Oil & Gas Company as a Subsea Test Engineer working on ROV and control products.
The Test Engineer will report to the EPC Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
* Define, manage and report on project test equipment delivery to meet Project testing plans.
* Defining test equipment requirements for the project, based upon realistic analysis of schedule risks leading to clashes.
* Verifying Phase 1 test equipment inventory in Angola, developing refurbishment plans and managing refurbishment to meet schedule objectives.
* Based upon equipment on hand in Angola, ensuring that P&L project teams arrange adequate supply of new test equipment to satisfy the scope of work.
* Tracking and reporting for test equipment delivery & shipment against test plan.
* Assuring proper control of test equipment inventories in Angola
* Develop and engineer Project EFAT & SIT Test strategy.
* Develop test strategy document(s)
* Oversight of EFAT test procedure at COEs.
* Preparation of SIT procedures
* Develop and manage SIT test execution plan.
* Identify and manage risks related to project EFAT and SIT testing
* Attend and input into project risk reviews
* Convening Test Readiness Reviews as required to mitigate testing risks
* Support to risk assessments associated with SRT planning
* Management and Engineering Support for EFAT/SIT Execution
* Work with services/COEs to ensure adequate test personnel on site to execute testing to plan.
* Ensure on site logistics adequate to manage test equipment inventory.
* On site test management of EFAT & SIT activities in Aberdeen (trees) and Angola (manifolds)
* Manage engineering support for EFATs and SITs as required (with support from project organization)
* Reporting of test progress to project management
* Control of on site, test related costs
Contractor Ideal/Special Experience:
-Five years experience in Oil & Gas involving Site Integration Test (SIT), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
-Project Management
-Multiple computer skills including working experience with MS Office applications such as Word and Excel and general experience in computer systems
-Global travel may be required
