Our corporate client requires two Strategy and Planning Specialists one to act as the Manager the other as specialist to design, conduct and communicate the core of this analysis to all the stakeholders in the function. In addition, the Strategy & Planning Specialist holds accountability for a set of specific Strategy & Planning responsibilities such as the financial modelling, strategic research, driving collaboration and engagement among the AI community and identifying areas for future growth looking at both supply and demand.
The Strategy & Planning Specialist/Manager will, support the Asset Information function in the business. You will help the function become more customer centric rather than activity centric. The Strategy & Planning Specialist/Manager will be responsible for providing valuable insight through deep analytical analysis, thoughtful reasoning, and robust cross-functional communication. The analyses he/she develops will serve as a key input in strategic planning and decision-making for the Customer Engagement function in Asset Information.
Responsibilities:
*Define and deliver core business metrics, reporting and analytics
*Lead and share the development of best practice market and competitive research
*Lead the financial modelling piece of work
*Lead the pricing and commercial feasibility strategy for Asset Information
*Develop scenario analysis and business cases
*Support in development of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including investment modelling, resource allocation analysis and expansion strategy
*Support the development of hypothesis based problem solving
*Synthesise data into meaningful recommendations for senior management
*Support the development of commercial strategy for Asset Information
*Structure and package analyses, strategies and recommendations into highly effective, compelling communication and presentations
Desired Skills & Experience:
*Ability to think beyond the task at hand and consider broader strategic issues
*Superior information sourcing skills to test hypotheses or analysis design
*Superior analytical skills, an expert in Microsoft Excel to manage complex and large data sets
*Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. Track record of utilising a fact-based approach to problem solving
*Superior communication skills. Build presentations (PowerPoint) to communicate data and information; present to both in person and remote internal audiences
*Ability to prioritise and manage multiple ongoing projects and tasks with multiple stakeholders. Project Management experience an advantage
*Working effectively both independently and in a team environment.
*A must self starter
*Preferably a background in management consulting or similar experience at a high tech firm
*MBA would be advantageous
