Job Purpose:
Working on behalf of Elite and our client, a global Oil & Gas company, we are looking for two Network Implementation Leads who will be responsible for managing new network projects for the client.
The role comprises of a one year contract working on a 28 days on/28 days off rotational configuration at our client's premises in Iraq (Basra).
Accountabilities:
- Develop and keep track of network project plans, including agendas, estimated costs, risk assessments etc.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of all network implementation projects (including Satellite and VOIP technologies)
- Ensuring Network Projects adhere to local and global polices and standard
- Liaise with key business and IT stakeholders to ensure infrastructure requirements are identified
- Work alongside Network Architects to ensure requirements are translated into correct network design
- Ensuring all health and safety policies are adhered too
- Carry out and document all essential records relating to projects under your supervision
- Keeping the project team updated regularly and following agreed project methodology
- Communicate progress effectively to senior stakeholders
- Develop/manage the best method for a project's execution
- Oversee quality control throughout project's life cycle
Skills/Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree qualified
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in network implementation projects
- Network Implementation qualifications (CCNP) or relevant CISCO qualifications
- Proficient in relevant Network Softwares and support tools
- Good communication skills
- Strong leadership and influential skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
