An exciting opportunity is currently available in Luxembourg for a French and English speaking .NET and SharePoint Architect. This position is located in the Public Sector through an IT Service Provider

Tasks:

The successful applicant will provide technical assistance to the client's CP (Corporate Portal) development team. He/she will:-

  • Provide technological advice for the integration of the CP's technical architectural modules
  • Design and implement specific components of the CP
  • Advise the CP development team on architectural evolution and solution development activities
  • Assist on the integration of the CP solution in the client's IT infrastructure
  • Advise on migrating, integrating and maintaining Intranet sites on the CP platform

Specific requirements:

  • 9+ years of IT experience
  • 6+ years experience with .NET (MS .NET certification preferred)
  • 5+ consecutive years experience with MS SharePoint (2007 and 2010)
  • Knowledge of component-based and service oriented applications development
  • Experience with solution integration, particularly in the context of collaboration solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols and tools (SAML, WS-*, LDAP, CAS, AD, ADFS)
  • Experience in upgrade projects of large SharePoint based environments
  • Ability to translate solution requirements into architectural designs
  • Knowledge of network topologies and security principles

Language requirements:

  • Good French (oral/written)
  • Good English (oral/written)

This position is offered as a freelance contract initially lasting six months with extensions then likely.
