Job Title: Network Engineer
Type: Contract- 6 months to 12 months plus extension
Location: Atlanta, GA (Midtown)

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer for a contract position in Midtown Atlanta. This role will join the client's Network Projects team within their IT department.

Network Engineer Responsibilities:
- Accept network projects and network enhancement assignments and implement them using established project management methodology, which includes requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Provide excellent documentation
- Participate and lead in project management processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4-year College Degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 10 - 15 years of network engineering in a corporate network environment
- Experience working with users to discuss problem analysis, systems modifications and gathering of requirements
- Working knowledge and experience with routed networks, including hands-on experience with Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancers, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, and related equipment.
- Work experience with Network Management Systems such as Cisco Works, HP Network Management Products, or related systems.
- Work experience with sniffers, Routers, Switches, VOIP, multicast, AAA, CIP, BGP, OSPF, TACACS, DNS, DHCP, and ATM.
- Work experience in Avaya PBX, LSP, SIP, Avaya Session Manager, Modular Messaging, Communications Manager, and general VOIP.
- Implementation of large scale industrial 802.11 deployments. Aruba experience preferred.
- Quality Assurance experience - unit, peer, system, and integration testing.
