Job Description:

This group is responsible for developing and implementing a web solution used to manage price, product, and promotion as well as configuration information for the company's Point of Sales (POS) devices. Our focus is on helping the shift and restaurant managers. The team is part of the IT Systems Development group, which is collectively responsible for software used in the restaurants.

We are seeking for an experienced Sr. Business Technical Analyst/Project Lead to join the RFM Team.
The Senior BTA/Project Lead will be called upon to identify and formally document business requirements for the RFM business application and assist in coordinating the implementation into production across multiple areas of the world. This individual will also lead and project manage the adoption effort with various areas of the world.

Responsibilities include:

  • Write requirements specifications and develop business process models to define the business needs.
  • Provide day-to-day direction of development and production support staff (on and off shore).
  • Ensure that the solution design meets the customer's prioritized business requirements.
  • Consults with the clients to understand their technology needs and business drivers
  • Assists project leadership in designing the approach for a project, estimating/planning, and setting technical direction.
  • Work with project personnel in other departments (both IT and business) and vendors.
  • Lead and manage the adoption project for specific pilot markets
  • Create Project Charters to govern the adoption scope and schedule
  • Work with Markets to take them through our RFM Adoption Roadmap
  • Create and maintain Project Plans to manage all activities from data migration/data loading to pilot in restaurant
  • Create and maintain Risk registers and Issue Log to ensure proper risk mitigation
  • Put strategy/approaches in place to resolve issue so as to minimize schedule impact
  • Setup and configure pilot countries
  • Perform gap analysis.
  • Analyze impact of change requests and map request to releases/versions.
  • Occasional domestic U.S. and International travel may be required.

Appropriate Candidate Characteristics:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as is, the ability to think analytically and to clearly communicate with the user community. Experience leading information technology project teams (offshore) in the area of project development is key, as well as experience in project stakeholder engagement and relationship management. The right candidate is a fast learner, innovative, and enjoys working on international projects.

Additional Skills:
Analysis - Developing Charts - Developing Diagrams - Ability to follow up - MS Project - Oracle

  • 10 + years experience in application development processes and operational processes.
  • 3 + years of Project Management Methodology.
  • Working knowledge of systems development life cycle processes.
  • Working Knowledge of application and technical infrastructure architecture processes.
  • Ability to work in a Team environment.
  • Able to travel internationally
  • 5 + years of experience in the Restaurant business area preferred.
  • Familiarity with Rational Tools (Requisite Pro, Clear Case, Clearquest) a plus
