My Oil and Gas client are currently looking for a Materials Engineer on a 2 year contract to start ASAP.
Skills/Experience required
- Choose type of material
- Follow up vendors
- Discipline check of material certificates and procedures for material, wlding, NDT and surface protection.
- Advisor and evaluation regarding material and corrosion related problems.
- Partisipate in studies.
- Follow up of other younger engineers
- Discipline lead sctivities
Mandatory Work Experience required:
- Experience working as an engineer in offshore oil and gas industry
- Experience with Norwegian standards and regulations
- 8 years experience
- Preferable Experience/Qualifications, (not Mandatory):
- Good Norwegian Norwegian and English language skills, both writhing and speaking.
- Structured, cooperative, goaø-oriented and accurate
- Flexible and like to work with people from other culture
- Good Teaching skills
