SKILLS: CAN, AUTOMOTIVE, DFMEA, DVP & R, ROBUSTNESS AND RELIABILITY PROCESS
ROLE:
- Ability to develop technical/product solutions that meet or exceed customer requirement and Company's manufacturing specifications and requirements.
- Develop technical risk and opportunity analysis for quotations. Input into quotations for development costs giving clear deliverables that will be the basis for the technical contract with the customer (including prototype costs, purchased services and design and product validation costs).
- Lead/Oversee and coordinate system testing and benchmarking of customer systems. Drive to maximize use of existing concepts and use Company design guidelines
- Management skills. Concern for quality. Problem solving experience. Experience of component/system engineering in automotive industry.
- Experience in OEM, 1st tier supply base or recognised automotive consultancy.
