A leading organisation based in Tewkesbury is looking for a Senior Buyer to join the team. This is a fixed contract for 18 months working for an award winning technology company and the role sits within the electronic manufacturing environment
You will be an integral part of the supply chain team, responsible for procuring a diverse range of products from electronic components to computer peripherals to metalwork, plastics and other related products.
You will also be responsible for:
* Designing and developing effective supply chain solutions
* Participating in project teams to support new bids, proposals and processes
* Introducing strategic pricing models
* Providing procurement expertise across the group and business
You must be CIPS qualified with proven technical knowledge and experience in electronic/electro-mechanical commodity procurement techniques.
