Senior Marketing Manager
Bristol
£250 per day

Our client, a leading banking organisation, currently seeks a Senior Marketing Manager, to be based in The Bristol office.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

-Develop and agree the content of campaign briefs with programme and product managers which respond to the business objectives and provide a clear direction for the campaign
-Build and maintain relationships with agencies, suppliers and internal specialist functions, to facilitate achievement of campaign/project tasks
-Develop and agree campaign customer targeting, checking that data briefs identify the appropriate customer segments to maximise campaign effectiveness
-Critically evaluate creative proposals against the agreed campaign brief, making recommendations and ensuring ideas are approved by Brand, Legal & Compliance.
-Carry out tasks and activities within allocated campaigns/projects, ensuring efficient and effective use of assigned budget and other resources and ensuring deadlines, cost, print production quality and legal & compliance standards are met
-Monitor progress on allocated campaigns/projects, identifying where intervention is necessary and taking action or seeking guidance from management as appropriate
-Monitor expenditure against budget across assigned campaigns/projects, providing regular and ad hoc reports to senior management, with recommendations to maximise the use of allocated spend. Recommend budget adjustments as appropriate
-Work with the Customer Insight and Product teams to produce analyse campaign performance and agree future activity based on MI
-As required, collate information and produce management reports, which update management on campaign progress or review campaign implementation.

As such, the successful Senior Marketing Manager will have the following skills and experience:

-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Strong organisation skills with an ability to manage & prioritise own and team's workload
-Sound working knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe
-Good knowledge of the marketing discipline and the steps involved in delivering a marketing campaign across a number of channels
-An awareness of relevant legislation and an understanding of how this may impact on marketing communications campaigns
-Prepares straightforward campaign briefs/plans and understands the key processes and procedures in the marketing communications environment
-Knowledge of day-to-day budget procedures, including monitoring spend against allocated budgets
-Ability to influence at the highest levels across the organisation and to bring key stakeholders with them.
