Description
Link Technologies is currently looking for a Drafter for a contract in Aiken, South Carolina.
DUTIES:
Provide drafting services to assigned client Engineering Teams utilizing 2D MicroStation.
Drafting services include generation of: single line drawings; piping and instrumentation diagrams, layouts, commodity details, schematics and wiring diagrams, conduit and fabrication drawings.
Drafting services shall be provided using client processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by client.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
A High School Degree is required. Formal training beyond High School in Computer Aided Design or Drafting is preferred.
Experience/Skills:
Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years of experience as a Drafter, including a minimum of three (3) years of experience in 2D MicroStation Computer Aided Drafting (CAD). Experience with 3D MicroStation is a plus.
Work Hours:
A 40 hour work week is scheduled. This project may utilize 5/10s (10 hours/day; five days per week). Work week excludes client holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
Area Security Access:
A security clearance is not required.
