My client is currently looking for a highly experienced Cognos BI Consultant for a exciting opportunity based in Nigeria.
I am looking for a high calibre Cognos BI consultant with a proven track record of bringing in projects on time and to the highest standards within a blue chip environment. You will need to have an in depth understanding of data warehousing architecture and concepts and Kimball methodology.
The type of individual we are looking for must have excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills along with the ability to trace report performance issues to root causes.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in Cognos 10/8.x, Framework Manager, Report Studio,Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Event studio and Metrics Studio.
- Cognos Report Net 1.1 and Cognos EP7 series
- Cognos 8.4Transformer Cube
- Excellent Cognos Report Tuning and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to trace report performance issues to root cause
- Very good understanding of Data Warehousing Architecture and Concepts and methodologies (Kimball), Star & Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimensions tables and Logical & Physical data model
- Good communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent client facing skills
