6 month contract opportunity for a strong Digital Solutions Architect for one of Australias leading Media Organisations.
This company is responsible for so many household named print and digital media brands and has a number of large projects on the go currently.
This purpose of this project is to integrate the current video publishing platform across online and mobile properties as well as into the Digital Asset Management Platform.
The position requires strong technical leadership and solution delivery experience across Video, Digital Asset Management across Web/Mobile/Tablet channels, Video Player Frameworks and Video Analytics
Good exposure is required for Experience working with SaaS platforms and SOA, Adobe HDS & Apple HLS video delivery.
The following capabilities will see you short listed for this position:
- 5+ Years online and mobile application delivery experience
- Excellent Team Lead abilities - proficient at directing highly skilled development teams
- Solid experience in design/build/maintenance of mobile sites or mobile-apps
- Very strong Oral and written communication skills
- A highly influential presenter with strong negotiation skills
- Previous interaction with development teams working on Blackberry, Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows Mobile applications etc.
- Highly skilled in SOA Architecture Design and best practices
- High level coding experience with C, Objective C, Cocoa, Core Text, Ruby/Rails, Java or PHP.
- Experience in Project Management and delivery methodologies
- Implementation knowledge across any of the following: Tomcat 5.5, JBOSS, Eclipse, Subversion, Hibernate, modern web frameworks (such as Spring MVC, JSF), JUnit, Selenium, JMeter, Log4J, Bamboo, Maven 2, JIRA, Confluence.
- Solid understanding of Functional Domain Architectures & Technologies (ETL Billing, Finance, Back Office, CRM, Data-Warehouse)
