As a Senior Desktop SOE Engineer your role will see you working in a very complex technical environment supporting a number of key functions.
The key responsibilities of this position are;
- Support and administration of key components of the companies IT infrastructure
- Planning and delivery of improvement initiatives and project work.
- Participation in the definition of technical standards and guidelines.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve the Windows environment and associated management processes.
- Maintaining the security of the Servers, Laptops and desktops computing environments through the effective implementation of the corporate Security Policies and Procedures.
- Identifying End of Life issues, developing and executing plans to maintain hardware and software currency.
- Experience with SOE design, development and implementation utilising Windows XP and Windows 7 technologies
- Extensive experience with application packaging and Scripting using powershell/Visual Basic
- Experience in the creation of 'Zero Touch' deployments utilising Microsoft technologies including WDS, SCCM, MDT and WAIK
- Good project planning skills with the ability to deliver initiatives and project activities on time and within budget
- Ability to approach complex technical issues and problems in an analytical and methodical manner
- Ability to obtain Australian Government SECRET Security clearance
- Australian Citizenship - Essential
