- Environmental Test Centre Technical Assistant

Currently recruiting for a large Defence company for a candidate to work from instructions to Calibrate (Measure and Test) Electrical and Electronic equipment.
Looking for someone with a moderate technical background in electronics or similar industry that understands the Electrical/Electronic equipment.
Or alternatively someone who is able to learn quickly and is able to pick up technical tasks quickly.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain the waiver system and control issue/receipt of items requiring calibration.
- Ensure all test equipment is calibrated in line with the ETC quality manual.
- Carry out internal calibration of test equipment including environmental chambers.
- Produce calibration certificates to UKAS standard.
- Carry out internal UKAS audits and produce reports.
- Ensuring personal and personnel safety and compliance with HS&E requirements
Skills Required:
- Computer literate
- Technical Background
- Able to work in a team or on own initiative
- Preferable electronics/engineering background would be desirable
Graduates from an Electronic/Electrical background welcomed.
