Project Manager
Information on the Project:
The NDC Phase III program/project with be executing three (3) separate critical weekend electrical re-circuiting work events. This requires an extensive amount of advance preparation, research and coordination. To support and help ensure the success of these high impact efforts we require additional resources. These project roles are integral to the success of NDC Phase III.
Daily Responsibilities:
-These two (2) Contractor Project Managers/Coordinators will help lead and drive the planning, preparation, documentation and readiness on behalf the respective data center leadership.
-They will ensure that advance planning, due diligence, impact assessments, documentation and customer/BP communication and team readiness is complete.
-Working in conjunction with data center facilities & IT staff and management they will ensure command and control capabilities are established and active throughout each work effort.
-Working with communication teams they will help ensure advance client notification, status reporting and review meetings are conducted.
-Coordinate and direct Command center functions.
Required Skills:
-Knowledge of Network and Electrical connections to IT hardware
-Command and control structure experience
-Minimum 10 years data center project management experience
-Risk mitigation and contingency planning experience
-Ability to perform infrastructure discovery and assessments.
-Vendor coordination and management experience
-Large enterprise level data center migration, consolidation and relocation experience
-Ability to identify raised-floor assets and power requirements, inclusive of all gaps
-Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-pace work environment
-Ability to follow application workflows and dependencies
-Ability to interpret asset management reports and use of asset management tools and processes
-Ability to manage and leverage multiple project teams
-Ability to drive implementation activities
Preferred skills:
-PMP/ITIL certified preferred

-Ability to communicate in clear and concise manner across business and technical groups
-Excellent communication skills and across all business and technical groups
-Researching skills and problem solving skills.
-Executive level communication and presentation skills
Type of background needed:
-Data Center systems (HVAC, UPS, MEP) familiarity
-Healthcare industry experience (industry applications)
-Regulations experience (HIPPA, PCI, SOX)
-Business continuity experience
-Contract management
Minimum Education Required:
-Associates degree
