Description
Exciting opportunity for a versatile applications development project manager to contribute to the continued success of a leading organisation. Working within the PMO and in conjunction with key business stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivery of the applications component of the organisation's IT program. You will be responsible for the management of projects' scope, quality and costs throughout their life cycles and also ensure projects run to schedule. This initial 6 month contract is likely to be extended subject to project progress and business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project teams through design, development and implementation
- Provide overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines
- Manage multiple vendors to meet project deliverables/timeframes
- Communicate progress, escalate issues and consult with key stakeholders
- Ensure consistency of approach and drive project management culture based on efficiency and effective cost management
Requirements
- 3-5 years project management experience in an Agile environment
- Project management accreditation - PMI/PMP/Prince2
- Demonstrable application of all stages of SDLC
- Stakeholder engagement, acceptance and change management experience
- Vendor management and negotiation skills
