The Role
The Finance Assistant will be joining a small finance team and will be expected to perform a range of tasks as needed including:
* Building an excel model for Cost of Revenue (cost of goods sold) planning, by product type and cost type. Model also to pull in revenue and calculate gross margin.
* Mapping the data flows between systems and understand what costs are posted in which system
* Building a Bex report to show actual gross margin by product type, reconciled to GL codes
* Documenting and reviewing WIP postings to simplify for 2013
* Actual vs plan analysis for 2012 as needed
* Analysis of actual costs year on year
* Providing support on other FP&A activities, preparation of reports, PowerPoint decks, excel analysis

The Finance Assistant will:
* Be Part or Fully-Qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting
* Have experience of data modelling, variance analysis and report production
