Unix Administrator within an investment bank. Environment - Sun, Dell running Solaris, Red Hat Linux & VOS. Resp for 2nd & 3rd line support for these, hardware support of Unix based Servers, operating system & infrastructure messaging system support, monitoring, server builds, patching, configuration and maintenance for Sun & Dell Servers, storage with working knowledge of SAN connectivity, IT planning. Proven exp of batch scheduling utilising either Cronacle or similar. Exp within financial services would be preferable but not mandatory.
