IT. Alliance has an immediate requirement for a Software Development SCRUM Master for an initial 6 month contract based in Dublin City.Our customer develops a unique range of products utilizing the latest in technologies. This is a key role, as our client is developing new features and enhancements for a number of customer facing applications and platforms. This is a hands on role where you will act as scrum Master and also through the full software development life cycle and carefully monitoring and controlling through each of the phases from initiation to closure.
Duties & Responsibilities
Scrum Master for platform
development project - encompassing all aspects of the scrum master role
- Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Conduct Lessons Learned sessions and ensure feedback is used for subsequent sprints
- Arranging Sprint Demo
- Provide inputs and action Process changes as/where required
- Ensure project objectives are met within the constraints of project scope, time, cost and required quality
- Coordinating and communication with project resources, internal team, stakeholders and vendors on all aspects of project progression/status
- Measuring progress and monitoring performance (overall, scope, schedule, costs, quality)
- Risk Management including issue escalation and resolution
- Post Project Implementation review to document lessons learnt
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree educated in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Business
- 6 years + experience in a similar project management role, preferably in a fast paced service delivery environment
- Agile Development Tools proficiency such as Greenhopper
- Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently
- Experience in managing technical resources
- Extensive hands-on experience in producing and grooming backlog, creating release plans etc
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in both verbal and written English
- Experience working with Technical Product Management Teams, experience and exposure to the some of the following technologies, .Net, Java App, J2EE, SQL, Client Server based environments
- Ability to work with 3rd party vendors
