Job Information
The OS (Operating System Team) is a core group that develops the Kernel, device drivers, memory management, file system and the multimedia framework for wireless devices. As a developer you have solid analytical skills, problem-solving skills and thrive in a fast paced high change environment. You will design, develop, integrate, and debug device drivers using Real Time OS. You will solve challenging problems that improve device reliability, battery life and audio streams.
Job Requirements:
- Design and implementation of components of a Real Time Embedded OS.
- Developing code to manage hardware peripherals within Embedded devices.
- Creating desktop tools to interface with Embedded devices.
- Participating in low-level debugging efforts with the ASIC, circuit board, and power groups.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with related coursework, including any co-op and/or summer placements, in C/C++ programming and demonstrating understanding of Real Time OS and device drivers.
- Good understanding of Real Time OS concepts.
- Good analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Self motivated individual with strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
