Our client is a large bank with a proven track record in delivering expert banking experience to a multitude of services. Our client is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager who will be tasked with leading a wide team of marketing personnel. The successful Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing the Line Acquisition Communications Strategy. They will also deliver, measure and optimise the 2012 plan to deliver commercial commitments, have experience with managing and reporting costs with an agreed budget and ensure financial promotions adhere to regulatory and internal process requirements. Our client is looking for a true innovative and motivational leader for a team split between Leeds and Newport, the role will require some travel to either site.
Knowledge and Experience
- In depth knowledge of the Marketing Mix, and proven capability developing and delivering integrated through the line communication plans to deliver challenge commercial targets (On and Off line direct marketing experience is essential).
- Experience and evidence of developing successful communications strategies based on customer and market insight.
- Strong commercial focus, able to develop and assess business cases, and business results in order to optimise marketing activity and drive continuous improvement in ROI.
- Experience in managing sizeable budgets, demonstrating strong cost controls
- Strong leadership skills - able to lead, motivate and develop a specialist marketing communications function and influence stakeholders.
- Financial services marketing experience preferred.
- Marketing qualification Desireable.
