Project Engineer - Belgium - Project Engineer
Basic task and objective
The project engineer is the SPOC for the project with regard to the technical aspect of a construction project. Within the Engineering Department provides the project engineer consistency between the different disciplines (Process, E & I, Piping & CW, Automation). S/He demonstrates a proactive attitude in order Engineering construction projects run smoothly.
His/Her activities besides purely technical aspects (process design, specifications, plans, data sheets, special execution conditions and price slips, collecting and reworking of up-to-date as-built information, ...) also administrative and financial aspects (license subject to applicable law, drafting and
evaluating price inquiries, ...).
Organizing, supervising, checking of design tasks related to gas in cooperation with FLX services or external consulting engineering programs. Purpose: safe, reliable and user-friendly design installations in accordance with the current legislation and standards and standards that meet technical/financial sound quality.
Reporting
Providing a structured and regular reporting to the Engineering
Projects Manager.
Competencies and skills:
- Master of Industrial Sciences option Electromechanics.
- Practical experience in the preparation of engineering documents
petrochemical plants
- Knowledge of codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, PED, ATEX, ...)
- Knowledge of process (PFD, P & ID, HAZOP, ...)
- Basic knowledge of standard computer applications such as MS Office is assumed.
- Good knowledge of EN/FR/ENG.
- Possess a driving license and a car for occasional business trips
