Description
Excellent opportunity for a FIX Support consultant to joining a leading investment bank to work in highly respected FX Team.
Main purpose of the role:
- To provide functional and technical assistance for suite of applications spanning FIX, DMA and Algorithmic trading.
- Main focus will be on FIX and an internal order management system.
- Role will involve daily liaison with application user community from front to Back Office and involve timely resolution of system problems/issues in line with user requirements.
- Role will involve ensuring the well being of the systems as a whole
- Communication will occur with end user departments as well as development/infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge of financial markets (EMC & FIC)
- Deep understanding of FIX. Experience within FX environment a must.
- Basic understanding of SQL and UNIX.
- Ensuring excellent user experience (excellent customer (user) satisfaction).
- Championing good quality, reliable process surrounding managed applications, co-ordinated with all relevant stakeholders
- Upholding application stability by suggesting and implementing monitoring processes, procedures to aid early identification of problems.
