A leading UK banking group is looking to hire a Senior Credit Risk Project Manager on a 6 month contract. Previous Credit Risk and Commercial Business Banking experience, as well as a solid project managerial background within the Financial Services is necessary. This is a 6 month contract paying between £500 - £550 per day.
The successful applicant will work within the change function of the risk team on strategic project work working alongside key business functions. The role requires an individual with previous credit risk and preferably Commercial business banking knowledge and experience. The candidate must have strong Project Management skills with proven supplier management experience and strong interpersonal skills.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with confidence clearly, effectively and concisely
- Analytical skills-Ability to present results in the required format and ability to communicate results to a wider audience if necessary
- Previous debit card and/or prepaid card and/or mobile debit experience is essential
- Strong issuer & scheme knowledge essential
- Supplier management essential
- Project Management and planning experience is key
- Able to produce detailed reports and other written material of a technical/complex nature, adapts style and content to audience
- Strong presentation/facilitation skills in order to draw out a consensus view within a group discussion
- Develops and maintains relationships with key contact in all relevant areas; strong stakeholder management
- Considers the full needs of all stakeholders and considers the impact of the recipient of the changes they are leading and takes appropriate action to engage end users in the development and implementation planning
- Successfully delivered small/medium complexity projects
