Brief Job Description
- Strong BSS telecom domain expertise for Convergent Billing implementation for wireless, wire line, cable, high speed data & content.
- Have experience of two End-to-Ends OBRM and other COTS from Design to post - implementation support as Architect/Designer in tier 1/2 Telecom Operators.
- OBRM or other COTS Certification would be added advantage
- Has clear understanding of OBRM system architecture with customized Opcode development and policy files customization.
- Has worked on Rating, billing, customer management,Service Provisioning, Accounting & Authorization, Order Management, Server Side API enhancement and development
- Working knowledge of Customer center manager, Developer Suite, Permissioning Center, Conversion Manager (CMT-Migration Tool), UEL event loading
- Knowledge of BRM Administration, Environment configuration & Database setup
- Good knowledge & experience of Hardware sizing for implementation of BRM
- Understanding of UML, OOAD, SOA, SOAP etc
- Have knowledge of Tool & utilities like MS Visio, Rational Clearquest, Rational Clear Case, VSS
- Hands on experience in RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQl, Sybase..) and Scripting language (Perl, Shell Script)
- Good knowledge of multiple operating system like Red Hat Linux, HP, Solaris, and Windows
- Has clear understanding of Operational Issues at Operator's end, in Billing, Rating, overall customizations done in core COTS product and its maintenance.
- Proficient in the areas of Requirement analysis, Effort Estimates, design, Configuration, development, release management, testing, implementation & Post implementation support.
- Ability to understand customer requirements, design solutions, manage customer requirements and ability to have a big picture view of the whole solution.
- Have good knowledge of SDLC and other software development life cycles
- Have experience of responding to various RFI, RFQ and RFP for Convergent billing implementation as part of OSS-BSS solution Stack
- Very good Understanding of eTOM framework, SID, TAM and NGOSS architecture.
- Have knowledge of Quality and Configuration
- Chairing of calls & face -to face interaction with other project stake holders and end customers for Technical presentation, POC and other demos
- Exposure and work experience on Presales, ADM, Migration & Transformation projects with complete understanding of the delivery aspects.
Key experience to search
- Billing systems integration, development and implementation for medium to big telecom/teleconference/ISP operator for service audio, video and web. Very strong knowledge of rating, billing, account receivables, reporting, and integration with CRM systems.
- Extensive solution architecting experience on Oracle BRM
- Solution Architecting for Wireless (voice, content, SMS, MMS, data), Wireline, Teleconferencing (audio, video and web), ISP and utilities using Oracle stack.
- Prepaid, post paid, Wholesaler billing, re-branding, retail billing.
