Business Intelligence developer urgently required to work for a leading financial services organisation located in Brussels on an initial 6 month contract.
You will responsible for the development of management reports, design the technical ETL solution (Define the technical interface, specs for the source systems, the ETL processes from landing zone till storage) and develop the solution with IBM DataStage, design the technical ETL solution (Define the technical interface, specs for the source systems, the ETL processes from landing zone till storage) and develop the solution with IBM DataStage, define the scheduling requirements for ETL processes in the Datawarehouse, develop & test (unit test, functional test and data profiling) the ETL processes, design the Cognos framework according to business needs and develop it, prepare the releases & installation instructions and collaborate with the users to build them the adequate reporting in Cognos. With a strong emphasis on driving Business Intelligence Developments.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Business Intelligence Developer, with strong development experience with IBM Datastage & Cognos, with strong technical skills and Business knowledge. An SME with both IBM datastage and Cognos reporting, with an ability to design the data model in a Datawarehouse context (Dimensional Datamodelling for Datawarehouse and data-mart applications) Knowledge of Business Intelligence methodologies, and BI Cubes is clearly would be advantageous. (ETL processes + DWH/BI Principles)
